Higel Marine Park at 1330 Tarpon Center Dr. will be closed to the public Saturday, April 30 for the annual Venetian Cup youth sailing regatta sponsored by the Venice Youth Boating Association. The park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. for this City permitted event.

 
Signage informing citizens of the closure will be posted 2 weeks prior to the event, as well as a “Notice to Mariners.” Boat ramp users should utilize the Marina Park boat ramp at 301 E. Venice Ave. (near the Venice Train Depot) during this closure.
