Incident Description
Crews responded to a SCADA alarm at the Bent Tree Master Lift Station. Upon arrival, crews determined that a level sensor had failed, causing the lift station to overflow. The team was able to replace the level sensor and return the lift station to regular operation. Approximately 1,200 gallons of sewage overflowed from the station and entered the dry retention pond on the site. The team recovered about 200 gallons of sewage from the pond, with the remainder absorbing into the ground. No surface waters were impacted. Clean-up and notifications are proceeding per protocol.
