A Manatee County Sheriff’s Office deputy was incredibly lucky to walk away unharmed after a recent traffic stop. While standing near his patrol vehicle, he heard the screeching sound of a vehicle’s tires in the lane next to him. He looked up and saw an SUV swerving out of control and heading in his direction. He quickly jumped and rolled out of harm’s way as the SUV spun around and came to rest right next to him.
