Two days left to submit your name if you are interested in the open City of Venice council seat
Francesco Abbruzzino, The Uncensored Report, LLC
I have contacted the city and so far there have been a few people that have applied to be the next city commissioner:
-
- Matthew Taylor
- Rachel Frank
- Sandra Sibley
- Salvatore Filosa
Sandra is the favorite of the two Democratic members, Feinsod and Mitzler. I am not sure who the four Republican’s favor. Now, I know this is a non partisan seat, but trust me when I state the election process and the action behind the scenes is very partisan.
I have been asked to put my name in the hat by a few residents and I know that a few of you wrote the council, asking them to consider me. I would be more than willing to, if I had the support of a council member backing me. However, my phone has not rang, so without the support of a council member I chose not to put my name into the hat. 🙂
