On December 10, 2021, just before 10 p.m., Sarasota Police officers responded to 1518 29th Street, Sarasota, for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a young boy dead inside the home.
One juvenile told Sarasota Police detectives that he was with King at the home before the shooting.
