City of Venice holiday closings/trash pickup schedule

Venice City Hall will be closed Thursday, December 23 and Friday, Dec 24 for the observance of the Christmas holiday.
Garbage, yard waste and recyclables will not be collected on Saturday Dec 25; if this is your usual collection day please plan to have all 3 items at the curb by 7 a.m. Wednesday, Dec 29. All other residential collections stay on their regular schedule. Commercial accounts will have their dumpsters serviced on Friday Dec 24.

Garbage, yard waste and recyclables will not be collected on Saturday, Jan 1; if this is your usual collection day please plan to have all 3 items at the curb by 7 a.m. Wednesday, Jan 5. All other residential collections stay on their regular schedule. Commercial accounts will have their dumpsters serviced on Friday, Dec 31.
To dispose of live Christmas trees, cut into 4-foot pieces and place at the curb with weekly yard waste collection.
