Ready to dispose of your live Christmas tree? If you’re a City of Sarasota solid waste customer, please:
Remove all tinsel, lights, decorations and tree stands from your tree prior to collection
Place it in a paper lawn and leaf bag or in a 45-gallon or smaller container with handles
Place it at the curb by 7 a.m. on your regularly scheduled service day
Artificial trees can also be collected, but please consider donating your tree for a more sustainable option.
