Former Children’s Hospital Surgeon Dr. Ben Carson Warns Against COVID Shots For Kids

Speaking with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News on Sunday, Dr. Ben Carson urged American parents to reconsider vaccinating their young children against Covid-19 after the CDC approved the Pfizer jab for ages 5-11 on Tuesday.
Dr. Carson, who was President Trump’s Housing and Urban Development Secretary and was formerly a surgeon at the John Hopkins Children’s Center, told Bartiromo the CDC should have “absolutely not” approved the shot for young children.
Carson became a well-known doctor after discovering new surgery techniques that helped save the lives of many children.
“The fact of the matter is, the mortality rate for children from COVID-19 is 0.025, which is very similar to the rate for seasonal flu,” he explained. “And we haven’t been for years and years going through all these things for seasonal flu.”
Dr. Carson continued, “Plus, we don’t know what the long-term impact of these vaccines is. So this is really sort of a giant experiment. Do we want to put our children at risk, when we know that the risk of the disease to them is relatively small, but we don’t know what the future risks are? Why would we do a thing like? It makes no sense whatsoever.”
Touching on natural immunity, the surgeon said several studies have shown that it provides stronger and longer-lasting protection than the experimental vaccines.
“You look at the Cleveland Clinic study, 1,300 of their health care workers who had been previously infected, none of them got reinfected,” he told Fox viewers. “So, I know the CDC is coming out with their recommendations and trying to spin things their way. But we ought to look at all of the data.”
Meanwhile, the UN has provided an outline for health care workers to bypass parental consent and vaccinate children at school and health facilities without the knowledge of caretakers.
