Venice red tide and surf update 8.28.21

Checking out the jetties, pre-surf. You can definitely see there’s a swell building, although right now it’s about ankle high. The surf is expected to grow throughout the day, with waves for the next couple days.
The red tide smell is here at the south jetty, and I could smell it at the north jetty while there this morning. There are some dead fish on the beach here at the south jetty.
