Venice Dog Park closed until next month, as they replace the parks walking path

A reminder that Brohard Paw Park is closed this morning to replace the park’s entire walking path, from the parking area down to the beach. In order to reduce the project cost, the Venice Public Works department is performing the demolition of the old trail in-house beginning today. The concrete contractor will be starting work next week.

This new walking path will meet all ADA slope requirements and will be a much cooler surface for dogs to walk on.

The Paw Park will be reopened as soon as the project is completed, around July 2. Dogs and their owners will not have access to the beach during this time. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve this popular beach park.
