Tractor trailer snarls traffic on 75 after it flips over in Charlotte County

A tractor trailer hauling junk cars on I-75 south flipped on its side just before noon Tuesday. The driver said he lost control when his trailer started swaying. He crashed on the shoulder at mile marker 161, about a half mile before the Jones Loop Exit.
The driver did not want to be taken to the hospital. One lane remained open but the accident caused delays for those headed south on the interstate near Punta Gorda.
