North Port: Man arrested after illegally dumping 2,000 pounds of debris

Recently, members of the Special Enforcement Team (SET) continued enforcement in the eastern part of the City (Yorkshire Blvd area) due to off-roading and illegal dumping. An investigation began after officers located a large pile of construction debris which had been illegally dumped. It ultimately led to the arrest of Yosvany Perez of Port Charlotte. The weight of the illegally dumped debris was nearly 2,000 pounds. Perez was arrested on felony charges for Illegal Dumping Over 500 pounds. #badidea
