North Port: Jealousy leads to three arrest, after a shooting incident leaves one hospitalized

UPDATE: Three individuals have been arrested in connection to the Friday night shooting. The three are currently facing a Felony charge each for Aggravated Battery with a Firearm. Javen Paul (15), Gavin Smith (17), Anthony Wicks (22).

Earlier: Friday evening at approximately 8:45pm NPPD and NPFR were dispatched to a shooting call near the intersection of Biscayne Blvd. and Porto Chico Ave. One victim sustained injuries. Suspects are possibly known to the victim. We believe this is an isolated incident. We do not believe there is a current threat to the nearby community. However, this is a very active and ongoing situation.
