City of Venice lifts their burn ban

City of Venice

Venice Fire Rescue Chief Shawn Carvey has lifted the citywide recreational burn ban (issued 6/1) effective immediately.

Sarasota County also lifted its burn ban this week.

With the recent rainfall we have received, the extreme wildfire conditions have been reduced. We continue to ask all citizens and visitors to remain cautious while burning outdoors.
