A reminder to Brohard Paw Park-goers to follow the boundary signs installed at the dog beach at 1850 Harbor Dr. S.
Venice Police actively patrol the dog beach, looking for those in violation of the following:
Dogs outside of the boundary: $150 fine
Unleashed dogs outside boundary: $75 fine
Not cleaning up waste: $75 fine
Dog waste bags are provided. Please place used bags in trash receptacles located near the fenced-in dog park area. DO NOT leave bags of waste on the beach. Trash receptacles are not directly on the beach at this time because of sea turtle nesting season.
