Venice Brohard Paw Park closure 6/9 to replace walking trail

Beginning Wednesday, June 9, the City of Venice and a contractor will be working within Brohard Paw Park, 1850 Harbor Dr. S., to replace the park’s entire walking trail, from the parking area down to the beach.

The old asphalt path will be removed and replaced with a new concrete walking path. This new walking path will meet all ADA slope requirements and will be a much cooler surface for dogs to walk on.

The park will be closed to the public during this time period and will be reopened as soon as the project is completed, around July 2. Signage will be posted informing the public of the project. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve this popular beach park.
