Vaccinated Liberals Scared To Remove Masks in Public For Fear Of Being Labeled Republican

Some vaccinated liberals appear to be terrified of being stigmatized as Republicans if they remove their mask outdoors per CDC guidance.

A weekly column by DCist called “Overheard of the Week”, which gathers overheard remarks by readers, found one conversation between two women on the streets of Washington D.C. discussing their fear of being labeled as right-wing if they removed their masks outdoors.

“I guess I’m vaccinated so I don’t have to wear a mask outside but…I really don’t want people to think I’m a Republican,” a woman was overheard to say.

In other words, she wears the mask to signal her allegiance to the Democrat Party and its COVID-19 orthodoxy — despite the fact the Democrat head of the CDC announced earlier this week that masks for vaccinated individuals are no longer necessary outdoors.

Libby Emmons of The Post Millennial described a similar anecdote:

“A woman I met recently told me the same thing, that though she’s been fully vaccinated, she still wears a mask in public so that people don’t think she’s a Trump supporter. We spoke about the social pressure that she felt to wear a mask, that she didn’t want people to look at her and make the wrong assumptions about her politics,” Emmons wrote.

These revelations signal a strange cult-like attitude permeating the Democrat Party, with the likes of Joe Biden and MSNBC Joy Reid for example pressuring the American people to keep wearing masks.

Biden, who has also been vaccinated, has refused to remove his mask outdoors even after the CDC relaxed its mask guidelines for vaccinated persons.

Reid went even further, proclaiming on Thursday that even though she’s vaccinated, she still wears two masks while jogging.

“I am among the fully vaccinated, joined team Pfizer. I did go jogging today in the park. This was the mask that I wore with a doctor’s mask under it,” said Reid, showing off her face mask. “Most of the people that I saw that were in the park, the park was packed. I would say like 95 percent of the people still had masks on.”

If you want a picture of the future Democrats want, imagine an N95 mask on the face of America — forever.
