Sarasota Sheriff is having a sweepstakes where two kids can win a new bike and helmet

May is National Bicycle Safety Month, and SCSO’s Crime Prevention Unit is hosting a sweepstakes where two lucky winners ages 5 to 8 will receive a new bike and helmet!
Now through June 4, children from 5 to 8 years old living in Sarasota County are invited to submit a one-page handwritten essay about the importance of bicycle safety.
There are two easy ways to enter the contest:
● Mail essays to the Crime Prevention Unit, c/o Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, P.O. Box 4115, Sarasota, FL 34230.
● Mail essays to the Crime Prevention Unit, c/o Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, P.O. Box 4115, Sarasota, FL 34230.
● Or email scanned essays to [email protected], and be sure to include “Bicycle Safety” in the subject line.
***ALL entries must include a parent or guardian’s name, phone number and email address.
