Sarasota Police rescue a driver that ended up in the bay, after trying to avoid hitting another car

While we were all sleeping. Just before 1:30am, we responded to a car in Sarasota Bay in 1100 block of 10th St. We jumped into the water & were able to pull the driver to safety. Driver was not hurt & told us he swerved to miss an oncoming car. He was cited for careless driving.
