NPPD: PLEASE DO NOT BRING ILLEGAL DRUGS TO NORTH PORT!

This week members of the Special Enforcement Team (SET) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle driven by Haley R. Albert (31) and contained passenger Robert A. Haga (38). During the traffic stop, Haley began providing a false name to officers. Haley’s real name was discovered and it was learned that she had active warrants out of Sarasota County for Burglary and Fraud. Probable Cause was also established to search the vehicle for illegal narcotics in which Methamphetamine packaged for sale, Fentanyl, Cocaine and prescription pills were located. Robert was charged with Methamphetamine With Intent to Sell, Possession of Fentanyl, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Robert has a history of drug crimes and Burglary out of Sarasota County.

 


 

 

Haley was charged with Providing a False Name, Driving on a Suspended Drivers License and Possession of drugs.

 

Great job to our SET team for getting these serious drugs out of our community and reminding those who bring them, that sooner or later, we will be catching up!
