North Port: fatal single vehicle crash on S. River Rd leads to a major power lines failure

#TrafficAdvisory: Deputies are currently assisting FHP with a fatal single vehicle crash on S. River Rd, north of Winchester Blvd. Major power lines are down, River Road is closed in both directions. FPL + fire units are also on scene. Avoid the area & seek alternative routes. 

 

The power lines have been de-energized which may impact power in the area for several hours. For more information on power restoration, we encourage you to contact @insideFPL
