Domestic disturbance in North Port, turns into a stabbing incident

Wednesday night emergency responders were called out for a domestic disturbance in the 6700 block of Neighborly Ct. A male victim with multiple stab wounds was air lifted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.  A search warrant was executed at the residence and a large knife and handgun were located. The suspect William Arthur Byron (8/5/46) was arrested on multiple charges for Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated assault with a Deadly Weapon. The victim, who is known to the suspect, is currently in stable condition.
