City of Venice to remove a derelict vessel on Tuesday

The City of Venice Public Works Department, Venice Police Department and Sea Tow are coordinating to remove a derelict vessel on Tuesday, April 27. The 28-foot Hunter sailboat will be towed to Venice Marina Park boat ramp at 301 E. Venice Ave., near the Historic Train Depot.

 

The park will remain open, but the public will have limited access to the ramp and dock Tuesday morning. The removal of the sailboat is expected to be completed that day.
