If you call the City of Sarasota, Government home or you’re visiting our beautiful community, you may notice more of our officers on foot patrol and bicycle patrol. It’s in an effort to be more visible, make personal contact with our community and deter things like open-air drug activity, aggressive panhandling, & alcohol-related crimes. If you see us out and about, please say hello and always report anything suspicious to law enforcement immediately.
