It’s going to be a busy Saturday this weekend around the City Hall complex! There will be four events happening in the area, so please review the traffic plan below before you go and get to your destination safely by driving slowly and staying alert.
Attendees looking for the annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event hosted by the Public Works Department from 8:00 a.m. – noon can enter from Sumter Blvd. via City Hall Blvd. Please follow the traffic through the roundabout before turning into the west parking lot in between City Hall and the Police Department. After crews collect your items, please follow traffic to turn right onto City Hall Blvd. and exit onto Sumter.
Attendees to the North Port Chamber of Commerce Business & Community Expo at the George Mullen Activity Center, the Vendor & Craft Fair being held on the City Center Front Green, or to the new City Commissioner swearing in ceremony being held on the second floor of City Hall are asked to enter from Sumter Blvd. via City Center Blvd. Please follow the road through the roundabout, turn left onto Kramer Way and utilize the parking available in front of the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way) or in the east parking lot next to City Hall as indicated on the map below.
Please note that N. Main Street will be closed on Saturday morning for the safety of pedestrians attending the Vendor & Craft Fair on the City Center Front Green. For more information, please visit www.CityOfNorthPort.com.
