NPFR crews responded to a report of heavy smoke coming from a home in the 6200 block of Morning Avenue on Tuesday afternoon. Everybody got out okay. Firefighters worked hard to help save little Kesha here. The furry feline was saved from the heavy smoke and resuscitated her using a specialized oxygen mask for pets. Kesha is now reunited with her owner. The initial inspection suggests it was a cooking fire. Strong work to the responding crews who know our pets are like family!
