We cannot stress it enough how important it is to remove your valuables and lock your doors. Regardless of where you live, you can become a victim of vehicle burglary.

Sunday evening, four unlocked vehicles were entered in the area of Prairie Creek West off of Washington Loop. The suspect(s) are now in possession of multiple (stolen) firearms.

Lock your doors- Criminals check door handles and it’s proven that if the vehicle is locked, they move to the next unlocked vehicles.

 

Remove your valuables- If criminals do not see something of value, why take the chance?

 

Locking your doors, and removing your valuables are just two steps to help prevent yourself from becoming a victim.

 

 Report suspicious activity- You are the expert on what is normal in your neighborhood. If you see something suspicious, report it, every. single. time.
