Twitter Removes Accounts that “Undermine Faith in NATO”

Twitter recently removed numerous accounts that “undermined faith” in the globalist North Atlantic Treaty Organization, or NATO alliance.
The company mentioned the new censorship effort in an update Tuesday announcing the termination of 373 state-affiliated accounts tied to Iran, Armenia and Russia.
Claiming some accounts were Russian state-linked bots spreading an anti-Nato narrative, the company wrote, “Our first investigation found and removed a network of 69 fake accounts that can be reliably tied to Russian state actors.”
Twitter’s Safety team added, “A number of these accounts amplified narratives that were aligned with the Russian government, while another subset of the network focused on undermining faith in the NATO alliance and its stability.”
The company’s shielding of NATO was roundly criticized as a new frontier of free speech suppression by Big Tech.
“Last I checked, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was not a god, but a military alliance,” wrote RT.com’s Nebojsa Malic.
“It hardly needs anyone’s ‘faith’ – or Big Tech protection thereof. Not only is it armed to the teeth but commands its own legions of ‘disinformation’ hunters and propaganda shops. Why, one of Twitter’s executives is literally an officer in a psychological warfare outfit of the UK military – a member of NATO, if anyone hasn’t been paying attention.”

Liberal journalist Glenn Greenwald highlighted the incremental, creeping censorship that started with banning Alex Jones and Milo Yiannopoulos.
It took only two years to go from disappearing Milo and Alex Jones to banning content said to "amplify narratives that undermine faith in NATO."
Imagine where the line will be two years from now.
Censorship is an intoxicating power that endlessly expands until it's smashed. https://t.co/ShrHhTqxGY
