North Port:  Doing donuts and destroying the grass at Dallas White Park is not cool, you fool

For the second time in a week, someone damaged the grounds at Dallas White Park by driving on the grass and doing donuts next to the sand volleyball courts. Not cool. Ample parking is available nearby, so there is no need to drive on the grounds of the park. Vandalism such as this degrades the experience of other park visitors, creates potential safety hazards, and can be costly to repair. Besides – a little walk is one of the essential health benefits of visiting a park! #SorryNotSorry

You can help protect our parks and green spaces! If you see something suspicious, tell us about it. You can reach the non-emergency police line to report safety concerns at (941) 429-7300 or submit a report via the free North RePort app. You can also reach us at 941-429-PARK(7275).

Thanks in advance for helping keep our parks clean, green, and safe!
