Motorcycle versus car crash in Venice on 41 in Venice

Avoid the area of SB US41 at the North By-Pass. Serious injury crash with Police and Fire on scene. Northbound lanes are open. Southbound lanes @ Venetian Bay Blvd are closed and traffic is being diverted. The crash at around 1:20 p.m. involved a car and a motorcycle, with two patients from the motorcycle airlifted to Sarasota Memorial Hospital.
