Fatal crash closes down parts of 41 in Sarasota last night

There was a fatal crash last nigh near the 8768 block of S. Tamiami Trail.    The crash left the southbound lanes closed, during the investigation.   The SCSO rerouted traffic at 41 and Vamo Rd.  I received my text regarding the crash at 8:57 last night.
