Rand Paul During Senate Hearing: “The Fraud Happened. The Election in Many Ways was Stolen.”

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Wednesday pointed out the various voting irregularities that were ignored by the DHS election cybersecurity division.

During a Senate Committee hearing, Sen. Paul discussed the narrow scope of the investigation led by DHS Cybersecurity expert Chris Krebs, who recently called the 2020 election “the most secure ever.”

“But the fraud happened. The election in many ways was stolen. And the only way it was fixed is by, in the future, reinforcing the laws,” Paul said.

Paul later invited Krebs to give his personal opinion on whether the election was secure domestically and whether voter fraud was committed.

He never has voiced an opinion – he’s welcome to today – on whether or not dead people voted. I don’t think he examined that. Did he examine non-citizens voting?

So to say it was the ‘safest election?’ Sure, I agree with that if you’re referring to foreign intervention. But if you’re saying it’s the safest election based on no dead people voted, no non-citizens voted, no people broke the absentee rules – I think that’s false and I think that’s what’s upset a lot of people on our said is that they’re taking your statement to mean, ‘Oh well there was no problems in the election.’

I don’t think you examined any of the problems that we’ve heard here, so really you’re just referring to something differently is the way I look at it.

Sen. Paul has vowed to join Congressman Mo Brooks in objecting to the Electoral College’s official congressional certification next month on Jan. 6.
