Humphris Park at the South Jetty, 2000 Tarpon Center Dr. in Venice, is scheduled to reopen to the public at 6 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, after cleanup and refurbishment following Tropical Storm Eta on Nov. 11. This will allow public access to the parking lot, park area and Jetty Jack’s concessions.

 

However, the South Jetty walkway will remain closed to the public until repairs can be completed in early December. The damage to the Jetty asphalt is extensive, and the walkway is not safe for citizen use or access at this time. Your patience is appreciated as this project is completed.
