Venice Gondolier quickly kills a posting regarding the firing of reporter Greg Giles. Are the allegations about editing stories to make Republican’s look bad true?

Did anybody catch this story, prior to the Gondolier killing it 3 days ago?
As you can see from a search, the title is “here’s how the Gondolier lied to you today”. As you can see from the screen shot from an article posted 3 days ago, it states how Greg Giles was fired stating:
BREAKING: Gondolier fired reporter. Well, it happened. APG Florida execs fired Greg Giles, the only independent reporter and news editor……
When you click the link, it brings you to a page stating that the link is broken or in other words, was taken down. I am speculating that Greg put it out there prior to leaving and the Gondolier killed the link, once they discovered it.
I was told about the firing on Friday, but was not sure of the specifics. Then on Sunday another individual sent me this text, eluding to the fact that it was from Greg and it notes some serious allegations regarding the Gondolier’s editorial process:
I cussed out my boss, editor Scott Lawson, for raping my stories and burying my stories and stealing all the good stories. I’ve had an ongoing argument with him about his constant rewriting of my stories to make left wing crazies sound normal, etc. Our biased editorial board does everything to make Democratic candidates look good, and Republican candidates look bad. With me gone, there’s no hard-hitting stories to come. But I’m not going away. You’ll be hearing from me again.
I am assuming that authenticity of the text, since it was sent to me by a former City of Venice official.
Crazy times there at the Gondolier.
