Ongoing feud leads to a shoot out while driving down Stickney Point Rd

SCSO was summoned out to Stickney Pt road after receiving a call regarding gun shots.  Shortly after arriving the SCSO received a call from the victim, stating that Yestel Gurerro-Mata had shot him. Deputies met the victim at his residence, after confirming that a car was struck four times by bullets. 

The victim stated that he left the Rebellion Club, when he noticed that Yestel was following him.  Yestel pulled alongside of the victim’s vehicle and began to shoot at him.  The victim slammed on his breaks and Yestel continued on down the road.   The victim started to drive and notice that Yestel was there again.  Yestel once again pulled alongside of the victim’s car and shot his gun again.

The victim was 100% sure it was Yestel and stated that the shooting is due to some ongoing feud between the two individuals.

Yestel agreed with just about every aspect of the victim’s story, except having a gun or shooting it.  He basically stated that the victim was shooting at him.   He had no logical reason for chasing the victim, who Yestel states was shooting at him.  Yestel did have a passenger in the car, but that passenger stated that she laid back and was not sure where the gun shots were coming from………
