** WARNING ENGLEWOOD PARENTS **

Yesterday, my sister and niece visited San Casa Park in the early evening hours. While there, it was observed by a park employee as well as another set of parents that an Asian couple (man and woman) was walking around the playground, watching my niece, following my niece and at one point, it was noticed they took her picture.

It was observed that these two individuals had no children with them. They were not associating with any other participants at the park, nor where they engaging in an activities, such as walking, biking or running around the park as many people do for exercise. The couple quickly left once the other set of parents went to go confront the couple. They were unable to get a license plate but it was a silver car.

CCSO has been made aware of the situation.

My sister is not taking this very well and wanted to get the word out but is just so upset and freaked out. Please, if you frequent any of the parks in our area, please be on the lookout, not only for this couple, but any individuals who seem to be lurking around our kids. Please do not take your kids out of your sight. I’ve received several reports from both friends and random individuals that they have encountered something similar in the last week as well. Just please be aware. It’s better to be cautious.

And thank you to the park employee as well as the other set of parents who noticed these two individuals at the park. It could have been a worse outcome if they had not tried to step in. We are extremely grateful you were there and tried to help!
