Venice’s non-enforceable mask mandate is set to expire on November 1

It looks like the City of Venice is letting their mask mandate expire on November 1, since there is no movement on the agenda to renew it.

Not that it matters, since there were so many exceptions, that it was easy to get around without wearing the mask. Then the Governor stepped in after the city passed the second extension and waive any fees associated with mask mandates and that killed Venice’s mask mandate.

I wonder how much the city attorney charged the city or us fine citizens to draft the mask mandate that Mayor Feinsod pushed, basing it on the concerned citizen emails. Emails that the Democratic associated parties sent out to individuals, pushing them to email the city, so that they would think the citizens wanted the mandate. I know this because I was sent a screen shot of one of the emails from a left leaning organization. Money and a lot of effort that could have been spent on managing the cities numerous issues, versus ignoring establish rules on the council, to push through a non-enforceable mandate.

Maybe Feinsod, Moore, Caturo, and Felder can focus on managing the city instead of playing political games at the expense of the residents.
