It is with deep regret ( ? ) that I must announce that the Feinsod mask mandate fell one vote short on the latest extension.  So, the non-enforceable Feinsod mask mandate will expire on October 31 at midnight. 

 

The vote fell short, after Mitzie Fiedler voted against the extension, since the Governor froze the collection of fines for mask mandate violations, which made the city mask mandate non-enforceable.  It was strange to see Mitzie vote against it, since she is a close ally of Feinsod.  There was no discussion on the vote to extend, just the vote.
