Biden: Voters ‘Don’t Deserve To Know’ If He Would Pack The Supreme Court
Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden said the American people “don’t deserve to know” whether he would pack the US Supreme Court if he is elected on November 3, 2020.
Facing a sparsely attended reporter pool at a news conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, Friday, a KTNV reporter asked Biden whether he would seek to pack the High Court should he and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) emerge victorious in the General Election.
“Well you’ve been asked by the viewers who are probably Republicans who don’t want me continuing to talk about what they’re doing to the court right now,” Biden shot back.
When reporter Ross DiMattei asked Biden if voters deserve to know and understand his position prior to casting their ballots, Biden took a defiant stance.
“No, they don’t…I’m not gonna play his game. He’d love me to talk about, and I’ve already said something on court packing, he’d love that to be the discussion instead of what he’s doing now,” Biden said, referring to President Trump.
“Well sir, don’t the voters deserve to know—“
“No, they don’t deserve” to know.
So not only is the Left not answering whether they will pack the courts, their standard-bearer thinks you *don’t deserve* to know whether they will. pic.twitter.com/cEj0dV5p6I
