Two Venice men are arrested and charged with several counts of possessing hundreds of photo’s and video’s depicting child sex exploitation

An alert was sent to NCMEC that an email and phone belonging to Stephan Mander had uploaded four images and one video of a child in a proactive position.   The details are very specific and I don’t plan on writing about them.  You can review the specific information on the Probable Cause Affidavit by clicking — >>> here.

The police executed a search warrant on his home on Holly Rd in Venice.   During the interview with Manders, he admitted to downloading the pictures and video.   He admitted to downloading approximately 500 images and video’s depicting children sexual exploitation material.  He admitted to performing sexual acts on himself to the material that he downloaded.  The ages of the children ranged from infants to 17.

Michael Smith was at the same home when the search warrant was executed.   He had a phone next to him on the couch and they found 271 photos’ where it was difficult to determine the age and 30 that depicted sexual exploitation of children.  The age range of kids on his phone were from 6 to 16.   He claimed that a female resident within the home gave him the phone and that he has looked at pornography on the phone, but he believed they were over 18.  You can read his Probable Cause Affidavit by clicking — >>> here
