Concern after the City of Venice retains an Events Coordinator for over $55k/year, yet events are at a standstill due to covid- Francesco
I actually discussed this with an individual the other day. We talked about how North Port had the foresight to see that there are going to be budget issues in the future, due to covid. So, they are cutting positions that are no longer necessary. Not in Venice though……. I did not check, but I wonder if they retained the part-time bicycle specialist at just over $20k/year………..

You won’t believe this … All events have been shut down for months and no plan in the future to start them back.
Ed lost his Coordinator last month so he posted a position for events coordinator, pay range $55-$60,000 plus benefits ..30%
He hired a person and she started this week. This is a big waste of Venice Taxpayer money.
