What the…….. We are now reserving spots at the N. Jetty?

My family spends a lot of time on holidays and special occasions at the Jetty . I wake up at 4:30 am and come grab a spot with a couple family members . We set up and lounge around and wait for our friends and family to arrive . If we see others looking for a spot as the day goes on we share or downsize the area we are occupying . Today I arrived to see a new trend . Areas roped off and marked reserved with not a single person in sight . It has been a couple hours now and still nobody occupying their “ reserved site “ I’d hate to see this become the new thing to do out here .
