Venice man gets probation and time served for possessing child pornography

James Clemmer was found guilty and was only given time served (11 months, 29 days) and three years of probation.   He was living on Wading Bird Dr in Venice and it is not clear where he will be living.

 

Through an SCSO investigation, detectives received information that James possessed child pornography on his electronic devices.  The SCSO obtained a search warrant for his cell phone and recovered two images determined to be child pornography. During an interview, Clemmer admitted to receiving text messages containing these images.  You can read the orders below:
