Venice is next city to consider mask mandate – SNN
This is an initiative that the Mayor has been pushing. He has been pressured to push it through by the ex Mayor Holic and Martin, who are part of a coordinated email campaign that is pushing for the mandate. I believe this is their second attempt to push this mandate out to the public, after Mitzie and Ronald brought this to the agenda a few weeks ago. Even though I live within the city limits, I will do my grocery shopping and restaurant dining outside of the city limits if this passes. I have already stopped going to some of my favorite businesses because they are mandating mask at their location. Business should stand up and let the council know they can enforce mask rules at their business themselves, if they want to and that mandating it will drive business away.
