Venice Fire successfully battles a brush fire on the island

We are currently assisting Venice Fire Department with a brush fire behind 737 South Tamiami Trail (Richards Foodporium). Both Northbound lanes of US 41 are shut down so please find alternative routes. We will update when the roads reopen.
