Target, Publix, CVS join list of major retailers mandating masks – News4

 

All of these state that if a medical condition prohibits the mask, you are exempt. I have researched it and you can state that you are not wearing a mask due to a medical condition and due to HIPAA, they can not ask for specifics. The same goes for the City of Sarasota, Lido and others that are mandating mask.

NEW YORK (AP) — Target and CVS Pharmacy are joining the list of the nation’s largest retailers that will require customers to wear masks as cases of COVID-19 spike.

 

“We’re joining others in taking the next step and requiring all customers to wear face coverings when entering any of our stores throughout the country effective Monday, July 20,” CVS tweeted Thursday.

Target’s policy will go into effect  Aug. 1.
