Sarasota: Police need help finding vandals that painted multiple swastikas and other graffiti at Temple Emanu-El.

On Wednesday morning between 2:00 and 3:00 a.m., the suspect is seen in surveillance footage first walking onto the grounds of Temple Emanu-El at 151 McIntosh Road in Sarasota. A short time later the same suspect approached Temple Sinai at 4631 South Lockwood Ridge Road. At both locations he spray-painted multiple swastikas and other graffiti causing thousands of dollars in damage. The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s or 30’s, approximately 5’10” to 6’2” tall, with dark hair and a thin build. During both incidents overnight, he was wearing a blue baseball cap, dark long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and gray athletic shoes. His face was also covered with a red bandana. A similar incident occurred on April 2 at Temple Emanu-El.

Whoever did this tagged the whole property, including a daycare on site. A maintence man woke up and worked to cover the hateful images on the daycare. There is surveillance footage of the suspect and @SarasotaSheriff is investigating. @fox13news #sarasota pic.twitter.com/Kp1OM8kIFi
