2. For those who are focused on deaths, you will scream about the fact that all 5 deaths in the last 10 days have been directly linked to elder care

Some things I have learned after asking some questions during the past week:

-Everyone entering the hospital is getting tested for COVID (for obvious reasons). For example: If you head to the hospital for a bad car accident and your COVID test comes back positive, you appear in both the COVID Hospital Bed AND the COVID ICU Bed number.

-This brings up the key difference in two words to remember: “WITH” and “FROM”.

WITH = Injured/Sick/Death + COVID Positive

FROM = Injured/Sick/Death + COVID Positive + COVID caused the injury/sickness/death.

The Deaths, Hospital Bed w/COVID and ICU w/COVID numbers posted below are the WITH number.

Lastly – Not many commenting on this thread will change their mind at this point. It has become too politicized, which is a shame.

For those who believe COVID is ending the world by breakfast time tomorrow, you won’t be swayed.

For those who believe COVID is less of a medical conditional than an ingrown toenail (yuck), you won’t be swayed.

This post is really to provide the data points for those who are too busy to focus on the political debate because they are focused on getting their business open, their paycheck back, taking care of their family and planning for the coming days, weeks, and months.
