Venice: City playgrounds, Children’s Fountain to reopen 6/13

All City of Venice playgrounds, as well as the Interactive Children’s Fountain in Centennial Park, will reopen to the public on Saturday, June 13.
The playgrounds are located at Chuck Reiter Park, Hecksher Park, Wellfield Park, East Gate Park, John Nolen Park, Legacy Park, Mundy Park, Prentiss French Park and Venezia Park. The swings at West Blalock Park and the Venice Area Beautification Inc. (VABI) Building will also be accessible.
All playgrounds and the fountain will be cleaned, sanitized and inspected prior to opening.
Sarasota County Parks and Recreation announced Wednesday they will open all County playgrounds on the same date, June 13.
