Venice: 41 near Detwilers will be shut down for a couple hours due to a gas leak

There is a gas leak in the U.S. 41 Bypass construction project limits in Venice. Police are on site.

 

The entire project limits on U.S. 41 Bypass from Center Road to Gulf Coast Boulevard have been shut down for northbound and southbound traffic.

 

The closure is estimated to last a couple of hours. Motorists should avoid the area if possible.

 

Teco Gas is on site to repair the gas line.
